One-to-One Rest and Embodiment Coaching

Coaching focuses on the present and the future. It helps build awareness of the present; helps you identify the changes you wish to make; and helps you take concrete steps towards your goal.

The body is at the core of this process in Embodiment Coaching.

Practicalities and Free Exploratory Call

I offer blocks of 6 one hour One-to-One Rest and Embodiment coaching sessions, tailored to your individual needs and providing the opportunity for in depth support.

A block of 6 sessions (taken within 12 weeks) is £240. Sessions are usually on zoom.

The best way to understand what I offer is to experience it, and that’s why the free exploratory call (45 mins on zoom) includes a taster experience

What happens in a session?

The sessions - responsive to your energy, anxiety or overwhelm levels that day – are unique to you.

They are a mix of talking and body based practices, to help you build awareness of how you are, and how that is reflected or held in your body (your embodiment).

From this awareness, I will support you to experiment with changing how you feel, by changing your physicality (your breath, posture etc).

All practices can be adapted to suit your energy levels. Some people spend the whole session lying down.

What happens outside a session?

To get the most from the skills learnt within the sessions, I strongly recommend you practice outside the sessions.

With practice these new skills become habitual and integrated into your life; readily available when you need them.

Practice “homework” is agreed at a level suitable to your available time and energy levels.

It often involves doing less and resting more, so please don’t be put off by this if you are struggling with fatigue or overwhelm.

Between sessions I will send you a link to a guided practice/s, to help you practice and establish new habits.

Why include the body?

We often make decisions or try to make changes based only on our thoughts.

Sometimes that works and is the right approach. But sometimes the same repetitive thoughts go round and round our heads, and keep us feeling stuck, anxious, or overwhelmed.

Including the body can open up new choices, give new perspectives and help you make powerful changes.

Embodiment Coaching offers a pathway for change both within the sessions, and in the homework practices offered.
